Tour Plan

Day 1   Welcome to the Valley of Tea | Arrival in Munnar

  • After you land in Kochi, our representative will meet you at the airport or train station.
  • Later, you'll get to the hotel in a sanitised car and enjoy the drive while getting used to the weather.
  • Get a drink at the hotel while you do all the things you need to do to check in.
  • Located 1600 metres above sea level, Munnar is a hill station known for its tea plantations, rolling hills, picture-perfect hamlets, and undulating valleys. It was once the summer home of the British administration in South India.
  • Relax at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace, while taking in the natural beauty of the area.
  • In the evening, you can go to the Munnar market and learn about the culture of Munnar.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2   Munnar | Take a tour of Munnar

  • Before leaving the hotel, have breakfast. Then, go on a trip to see Munnar.
  • After a four-hour drive through misty hills and tea plantations, you will arrive at the Munnar hill station.
  • Visit the Spice Plantations and smell the aroma of the Indian Spices that you know and love.
  • The Valara and Cheyyappara waterfalls are two places where you can take a break and enjoy the water.
  • Pay a visit to the tea gardens to learn how to make the best cup of tea.
  • The Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, and Blossom Garden are all great places to take postcard pictures.
  • Explore the Rajamalai National Park in the wild (home to the endangered NilgiriThar mountain goat amongst others).
  • The hotel in Munnar has rooms for the night.

Day 3   Munnar to Thekkady | Periyar Tiger Reserve and Spice Pl

  • Prepare for the next journey to Thekkady after breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check into your hotel and freshen up upon arrival in Thekkady.
  • Travel to Thekkady for a sightseeing tour.
  • Take a boat ride on Periyar Lake through the Periyar Tiger Reserve to see the big cat.
  • Later, you can go on an elephant ride or a Jeep safari through the jungle.
  • In the evening, visit the spice garden or stroll through the local markets in Thekkady to sample the local cuisine.
  • Stay at a hotel in Thekkady for the night.

Day 4   The Famous Backwater Destination | Thekkedy to Alleppey

  • After a delicious breakfast, travel to Alleppey to check in and board your private houseboat to learn more about the backwaters.
  • Following lunch, you will take a one-of-a-kind cruise along the lake and lagoons.
  • Alleppey's natural beauty is enhanced by magnificent lakes, canals, and coves.
  • Take in the scenic beauty of the small village, which is surrounded by backwaters, paddy fields, and coconut plantations.

Day 5   City tour in Alleppey | Try your hand at water sports
